James Day

James is an amazing photographer with an outstanding body of works and for me was a huge honour redesign an build his second portfolio site.

 

I kept the interface as minimal as it could be, making heroes the high quality photos. The transitions allow the user to quickly browse the site, whether using the mouse or the keyboard.

 

This was also my first website coded in AS3 – big thanks to Oli – and a long time favourite, so while Flash is slowly disappearing, I hope is going to live as long as it can.
